C4K February Summary

My first C4K was a student from Spirit Lake, Iowa named Syharat. His post was a research post about some information he looked up on the car Bugatti. He states that this is a very expensive car listed at 1.7 million dollars. He says that the Bugatti is so rare that even the paint is rare. The color of the paint is a rich blue. Syharat also writes that the Bugatti has over 1000 horsepower making it one of the most powerful cars in the world!

My second C4K was a young girl named Shayla. In her blog post Shayla told a story about a girl named Michelle who loved to swim. Michelle really wanted to be the best, but she had a classmate named Miranda who was always beating her. When Michelle finally beats her in a race Miranda challenges her to a swim off in the ocean. During the race Miranda is attacked by a great white shark and ends up dying while in surgery from a massive bite on her side. Michelle is changed forever. The moral of the story is that even though they were arch enemies Michelle still missed her friend Miranda.

My last C4K for February was on a post written by a girl named Lexi. In her post Lexi talked about Mardi Gras. She listed many facts about Mardi Gras. Lexi then talked about how Mardi Gras has huge parades where people ride on floats and throw cups and beads. She describes the colors of Mardi Gras and their meanings: Purple for Justice, Green for Faith, and Gold for Power. She concludes her post by stating that over a million people attend Mardi Gras and over 800 million pounds of trash is collected after every year.
